If you're a sneakerhead and you don't live under a rock, you would know that Kanye West debuted a new colorway of the Yeezy 2's at the 2011 VMA's. But before I get into this post, let me ask you, who told you this was going to happen?! Why don't you guys peep my last post before this where it talks about how Kanye will be doing a surprise performance with Jay-Z and he will be rocking Yeezy 2's. Haha, but seriously you guys should stick with me, who else knew that was going to happen?
ANYWAYS if you guys didn't know Kanye went on stage and performed Otis with Jay-Z. Great performance but what added to it's greatness was Kanye rocking a new colorway of the Yeezy2. This is by far the most clear shot we have gotten at the Yeezy 2, and hopefully more photos of clear shots will come out within the next few days.
But what we do know now is that these are probably going to be a colorway that will release. These are the WATERMELONS. The reason why @RegularOlTy gave these that nickname is because the shoe is red on the inside, with a solar red lining. And it is green on the outside with a glow in the dark outsole.
From what I can see the Watermelon Yeezy2's look really cool. I'm not able to say anything for sure yet until I see full detailed pictures, but as of right now they're looking really cool.
